Every BNB market in the latest snapshot, highest 8h rate first. Rate per interval is the amount paid at each settlement; 1h, 8h and APR are normalised so venues with different intervals compare directly. See the Hyperliquid funding rates page for core and HIP-3 markets.

What does BNB funding cost?
Worked example for a $10,000 long held for 1 day and 7 days, using each rate from the table above as if it stayed constant (it will not). Funding is charged on notional, not margin.
| Scenario | 8h rate | 1 day | 7 days |
|---|---|---|---|
| Median (10 venues) | 0.0095% | $2.86 paid | $20.01 paid |
| Highest: Hyperliquid | 0.0100% | $3.00 paid | $21.00 paid |
| Lowest: Bybit | -0.0033% | $1.00 received | $6.97 received |
Cross-venue spread idea
In principle a trader could go long where funding is lowest (Bybit) and short where it is highest (Hyperliquid) and collect the difference. At the current rates, $10,000 on each side would be a net $4.00 received per day before costs.
Caveat: this is an illustration, not advice. Real results depend on trading fees, price basis between the two contracts, different settlement intervals (a rate can change before you are paid), margin on both venues, liquidation risk on either leg, and funding changing sign. The funding rate arbitrage scanner ranks these gaps across every asset and explains the risks.

What drives BNB funding rates
BNB is the native token of the Binance ecosystem and the gas token of BNB Chain, so its price responds to exchange-specific news, chain activity and general market direction. BNB perps are among the more liquid altcoin contracts, but positioning tends to be less frenzied than in memecoins, and funding often stays closer to baseline than on comparably sized assets.
Because BNB is closely associated with one exchange, the venue of that exchange is the natural center of liquidity, and other venues often follow its funding. If you see a venue deviating strongly from the others, check its interval and whether it lists a differently quoted contract before reading it as a trading signal.
Drivers specific to BNB include token burn announcements, launchpad and listing activity on BNB Chain, regulatory headlines concerning the associated exchange, and the health of the chain's DeFi and memecoin activity. Each of these can nudge directional positioning and therefore funding.
Like other large caps, BNB attracts basis traders who hold spot and short the perpetual to collect positive funding. That keeps positive readings from running away in most conditions, while negative funding is usually brief and linked to sharp sell-offs.
Where BNB is listed
BNB is listed on most centralised exchanges and a broad set of on-chain venues. Coverage is one of the widest among altcoins in our dataset, which makes the cross-venue table especially informative.
LeverUp also lists BNB: its on-chain pool market charges a funding rate plus a per-side holding fee, so long and short costs differ. Trade BNB on LeverUp.
What to watch
What to watch: divergence between the exchange-native venue and the rest of the table, and sign flips during market-wide sell-offs. Quiet conditions tend to leave BNB near baseline, so unusual readings stand out more than on volatile altcoins.
